We are heavy into the harvest of the garden here in Oregon. we have squash and zuchinni everywhere and beets and carrots ready to pick. Peas are on and the tomatoes are about to arrive any day. They sit there slowly ripening, taunting us with their deliciousness. We have plums falling off the trees and there were enough ripe apples today to make two pies. We are loving the fresh garden goodness. It is so nice to be able to walk out and pick what we need for the nights dinner. Mmmmm.....
